What you must submit:
- Cover letter explaining why you want to be a Nethercutt Fellow. (How are you active on your campus or in the community? Why should you be selected to participate in the program)
- Completed Fellowship Application Form
- Resume
- Official copy of your most recent transcript
- Two writing samples (2-3 pages from two different sources of course work, e.g. research papers, essays, etc.)
- Two letters of recommendation (at least one recommendation must be from a professor)
- Essay (not to exceed 2 pages) answering the following question:
“What are the most important issues facing college students in America this year?”

NOTE:
- The Fellowship Program prefers freshman, sophomore and junior level college students.
- Faxed or incomplete applications will NOT be considered.
- All materials should be submitted together.
- Copies of official transcripts must be submitted in envelopes signed and sealed by the college or university registrar.
- Applicants must be registered to vote.
