Application

What you must submit:

  • Cover letter explaining why you want to be a Nethercutt Fellow.  (How are you active on your campus or in the community?  Why should you be selected to participate in the program)
  • Completed Fellowship Application Form
  • Resume
  • Official copy of your most recent transcript
  • Two writing samples (2-3 pages from two different sources of course work, e.g. research papers, essays, etc.)
  • Two letters of recommendation (at least one recommendation must be from a professor)
  • Essay (not to exceed 2 pages) answering the following question:

“What are the most important issues facing college students in America this year?”

NOTE:

  • Faxed or incomplete applications will NOT be considered.
  • All materials should be submitted together.
  • Documents received after October 31, 2008 will NOT be considered.
  • Copies of official transcripts must be submitted in envelopes signed and sealed by the college or university registrar.
